When you do that TS, then thats why you have like 5 or more Flashes......

Jay, Barry, Wally, Bart, etc......:stopitslime:

And no one really wants that shyt:camby:

Give us more universes:ohlawd:

Earth 619 , Earth 52, and so on and so on:noah:

Martha
So instead of 5 Flashes on one Earth, you want 5 Flashes on 5 Earths :heh:

Even when writers try to make a significant change by either killing someone off and replacing them or having a hero retire and pass the torch to someone else fans will whine and eventually the status quo returns. Jean Grey was dead for nearly 15 years but now she's back again. :francis:
THIS shyt RIGHT HERE

Comic fans are rarely satisfied.

i mean...200 different superhereos all in one city and there's still crime?....:francis:

On God, New York criminals are like Mets fans; dedicated & stubborn AF even though they already know how it's going to turn out. :EtherBurn:

If I'm doing dirt, we moving the operation to Dakota or some shyt. :NoSmokeP:

I get what your saying OP but you do have to remember a lot of these characters are over 50 years old. In the case of Batman, Superman, and Captain America they're over 70 years old. Almost every story you can think of has been written about these cats over the decades so have multiple versions and alternate universe versions keeps things a little fresh.

It's one reason why I don't have a problem if a company does a total reboot/reset every 20-30 years. These characters never really progress. Peter Parker will always be the struggling 20 something year old that can never catch a break. He can't be married and have a family. Cyclops can't "graduate" and be a family man and have somewhat of a normal life. Batman can never be happy, etc.

Even when writers try to make a significant change by either killing someone off and replacing them or having a hero retire and pass the torch to someone else fans will whine and eventually the status quo returns. Jean Grey was dead for nearly 15 years but now she's back again. :francis:

Marvel and DC create new characters all the time. You've never heard of them because 1. you don't read comics and thus, don't really care and 2. long time fans always reject/ignore them in favor of the old guard.

It is what it is. That's just the nature of the business. As long as the stories are good, no one cares.

How is it nonsensical?

Different story-lines in different universes isn't lazy.

How can stories like Injustice, Superman: Red Son, Batman: Gotham by Gaslight, Kingdom Come, and Infinite Crisis happen in the same universe? :bpgucci:

Or, for Marvel, stories like Marvel 1602, Days of Future Past, Earth X, Age of Apocalypse, and the MCU? :bpgucci:

This is probably the dumbest hot take I've ever heard. :bpdahell:

Are you done? :mbaku:
