Props, I worked at a rape crisis center too and rape culture is all too prevalent in society. Look at most of the responses in this thread, they're all quick to victim blame and rape is just treated as a fact of life.



I can't say to be honest. Rape simply put, is sex without consent. If both individuals were drunk and were not coherent enough to consent, then it's not rape but if she didn't consent and he went to town then that's rape simply put.

Yes! It bothers me when people say well if it was me I would have blah blah blah but it wasn't you. Let's make it very clear it wasn't you... point blank. So until it is please don't judge or objectify because the person who suffered the abuse is already doing that to themselves.

People have no idea how prevalent sexual assaults are. Sexual assaults happen more than any other crime but is the least reported. Once they are violated it doesn't just affect their body it also affects their mind leading to a negative self image and unworthiness which causes depression all due to some sick a$$hole who decided to pick them for their debauchery. I worked there for 2 years until it became unbearable. Some of those cases and images still haunt me.
