If it's under reported, how would you know if it is actually occurring?
Trashy. Did she forget that she was on a public street surrounded by tons of people while this alleged raped was taking place? This is why I don't get drunk when I go out. I don't have time to wake up not remembering ish and looking foolish. She needs some cuffs and a cell.
Many reasons, for one they recant their statements because they get threatened, they're pressured by other people, or they know the statistics and realize that the rapist probably has a fat chance of getting convicted anyway and they blame themselves because rape culture has a habit of victim blaming.
I seldom drink cause' I don't like what alcohol does to my body. Why people think its fun to get drunk to the point where you are powerless is beyond me.
Listen, I'm going to give you an out. The only way you can say rape goes unreported is if you claim that even ONE rape that goes unreported makes it 'undereported.' As far as there being some mass under reporting of rape, that shyt is obviously a lie. The reason people say rape goes unreported is that women will claim they were raped years down the line, often not naming their attacker, so their word (much like when it is reported) is taken as the truth. It's a load of bullshyt.
Hey, prisons got to meet their quotas somehow. Otherwise, they lose money.shyt makes me REALLY wonder how many innocent men, black, Cac, or otherwise are rotting in prison over false rape accusations...
They've been doing this shyt to young black males since the Scotsboro Boys (read up on it) but I've also read a surprising number of Cac cases where innocent white dudes were sent to prison for 4-5 years for rape until the "victim" had a change of heart and recanted everything. shyt happens more than we think

I have to disagree with you here. As someone who has worked at a rape crisis center in undergrad I say a vast number of rapes ARE unreported by men and woomen. A large percentage of the victims blame themselves (especially younger victims) regardless of the situation. Therefore they go through years of shaming themselves for allowing it to happen, feeling unworthy or useless or thinking they shouldn't have been here there or whatever the case may be. As they mature and heal they realize it wasn't them but their attacker who should be ashamed and judged. Once they resolve their issues with it as well as realize they can overcome it they're better equipped to talk about it i.e., tell someone or report it.
Being raped is not something that victims just like to blurt out. First they have to deal with the mental and physical trauma of being raped. Then comes the healing and lastly the confidence to speak on it. How each person responds to being violated is different therefore I would never discredit someone with a rape claim based on a time frame of speaking on/report it.
Do u think that this was a case of rape?
Especially women. That ish is dangerous and not cute. It's about knowing your limit. Oftentimes people don't until they're effed up passed out somewhere and vulnerable or annoyingly obnoxious.
I can't say to be honest. .
Anonymous needs to put her name and face out on the streets
I can't say to be honest. Rape simply put, is sex without consent. If both individuals were drunk and were not coherent enough to consent, then it's not rape but if she didn't consent and he went to town then that's rape simply put.
