It's hard to say. We have a black president and black women love Obama so that would probably not sit well with the black female audience.

I don't think it plays a huge role in the shows popularity tho. Not at all. There's more to like than just their affair.

I actually would prefer if that aspect of the show would go away. It ruins the show for me.

This. I liked the first season when the affair was hush hush and her "fixing" things got more spotlight. Season one Olivia was bad ass and about her business. Now she's caught up in Fitz and it's getting boring. A part of me wants Liv and Harrison to get together, lol.

I was hoping for that when I was watching the first season but now they seem more like brother and sister but Harrison needs more attention. They need to give him a back story.

IMO it isn't even so much that the affair has gotten more spotlight, that is to be expected with all the raving about their chemistry that everyone was doing. Its just the writing for the side stories has slipped a lot. I hate what they're doing with Mellie too.

lol you know? I liked her more when she was like the female version of Cy, and just calculating. Her and Fitz are gonna go to war now though, so hopefully she gets back to that. Fitz got her at the end telling her he didn't give a damn about her forgiveness
