Thug popped in 2014 had a lot of classic singles and features but it was with So Much Fun that he broke through mainstream as an album artist. Still tho you can make $ as a single and mixtape based artist and cleaning up with the shows, walk throughs, merch, etc. plus he had artists like Gunna signed under him. French Montana is a single and mixtape based artist himself his albums never sold and he rich.
