He got more faith in steeles relationships behind the scenes than he does in that jury. And when you think about it the time that was coming behind those charges couldve cost him his life. The judge is gonna take into consideration that the prosecutor office tried to offer 15 years probation and allow him to come home with conditions. IF he was this huge criminal like the prosecutors had said, they wouldn't have offered that.
