Man. I've gotta say it. I fux with this show. Heavy.

This week's ep might be my favourite one to date. I loved the use of the boat ride to frame the whole thing, and the characters really got a chance to stand out with less action.shyt felt like a samurai flick, mixed with a Western on some rap shyt.

All the foreshadowing was :wow: too.

Sha and Dennis coming to an understanding. Dennis having an inkling of the name that will make him a legend. Power and Divine being plugged in to the business side of the game in a way that will change the business, but also eventually fukk with the group dynamic. It's got to the point where ol boy playing RZA is working on getting his speech pattern right. The voice isn't there, but he plays the role so earnestly, that it doesn't bother me.

I remember hearing talk of Leonardo Di Caprio and Jonah Hill linking with Q-Tip to do a show about Tribe/ Native Tongues show like this years ago. It would be really really interesting to me to see that pulled off in a similar vein to this.

New episode was pretty dope to me

It makes me want to watch the next episode straight away but it builds to something next week

Does this drop in sets of 3 or was that just something for last week?

That nikka playing RZA hasn’t got any better the past 2 years. nikka so trash he makes every scene he’s in unwatchable
It’s like night and day with son from Dope playing the Chef.

He plays such a believable Rae/ dude trying to get out the game and take this rap shyt serious. Doesn’t look like Raekwon but that don’t matter much when you steal every scene you’re in.

They should have played old rza interviews to him to get the talk down..

He watched RZA interviews, and been around RZA, which is why he sounds like this now. RZA is damn near impossible to replicate...he was better off using his regular voice, again. The other problem was RZA's commanding presence...and he just doesn't have that either. He looks timid when talkin to them.
