I'm 100% sure that it's because they don't want someone to reach Austin or rock levels of over. Vince doesn't want anyone to become a legit crossover star because then they have leverage over him and he can't fukk with them however he wants. look at what he did to the nexus, Zack Ryder, CM punk, ziggler, Wyatt, rusev, Ambrose, cesaro, and bryan at the peak of their popularity. Look at the fact that AJ styles just jerked the curtain at wrestlemania against a non wrestler. The worst part is it's only going to get worse when Stephanie takes over.

That's where the problem lies. We all tuned in for the stars. Not the brand. I didn't care that AJ styles was in a shytty little sound studio at universal studios or that they didn't always have a tv deal. AJ and Sting and Christian and @Scott_Steiner were all there so i was tuning in. I didn't care if Jeff and Matt were in some clueless promotion that always shyts it's pants in big moments. I wanted to see the final deletion because Matt went so far off the rails that Jeff became the normal one.

I started watching last night right at the start of the Orton-Wyatt match so I went back now to see what I missed and it's safe to say the 1st half was way better than the 2nd half.

I just finished the tag match and I still got goosebumps when the Hardys came out, even though I already knew it was going to happen. That last ladder spot

honestly, ppl say Brock ending the streak did nothing......but it really did. It set Brock up to run that entire year and took his star power to a whole new level. He became a bigger attraction than before.

Roman beating Taker does nothing unless ur an 8 yr old kid who's blind to the business. But in the rest of our sight, him beating the Undertaker does nothing to make him more of a star. He's headed the past 3 Manias and still ppl don't care about his character.

Taker is a universal face, and WWE had a chance to turn Reigns heel last night.

But Vince just can't resist the Cena-type cash cow he hopes Reigns will be.

The cash cow Cena is happens to be semi fraudulent too though. The guy has 4-6 times as much merch as anyone else and his is always over supplied while everyone else's is undersupplied. They also likely do what Jericho said wcw used to do where they'd have hogan's name come up on the receipt for his merch type stuff too. How much merch can the guy really move with a nonexistent character and terrible skills on the mic? This is really discouraging to look at from a creative standpoint and a business standpoint. I try to view it as a fan still, but the product is so forced, corporate, bland, rehearsed, and sterile that I can't get interested anymore.

Just watched Cena/Nikki on the today show

Apparently Cena has been thinking marriage since 2015 when Nikki had her neck surgery

Cena's mom did tell John that she was gonna be at Wrestlemania, thus the reason they (both john and Nikki) jumped out the ring after they slid in to hug her

Cena's mom did not know about the marriage plan.

This is really discouraging to look at from a creative standpoint and a business standpoint. I try to view it as a fan still, but the product is so forced, corporate, bland, rehearsed, and sterile that I can't get interested anymore.

This is where I'm at after last night. It just feels like a beating as a fan, to not be able to get behind the top guy.

Your top guy should NOT be boo'd like Cena or Reigns. The fact Cena has been boo'd since 2005 says everything about how stubborn and lazy Vince has gotten.

I could get behind Reigns or Cena if they were a heel...amd then they could turn face and I'd still support them.

But right now the future looks bleak for adult fans who actually PAY money.

Not to mention the shytty stream last night. Someone needs to be fired for that
