putting things into perspective, CC faced the toughest challenge of her career today because unlike the usual double teaming by players her size, Connecticut switched it up and put 6'4 DeWanna Bonner on her as well.

Connecticut held CC to only 5 open looks the entire game. that is a great job of a coaching on the Connecticut side.

highly doubt that will work twice, but it was a very smart, ambush style game plan from Connecticut.

Nfl is different. Nba isnt competing with the nfl in april/may
NBA competes with a lot of stuff too. They compete with March Madness where they bend the knee and move aside, compete with TV shows that are ending, baseball, the NFL Draft when that comes up, and also competing with the first nice days of the year where people wanna be outside. ABC (and NBC when it's their turn) ain't about to prioritize the East semis over the Chicago season finales.

you're not asking the same person to choose between the WNBA playoffs and a random week of NFL/college. The WNBA has grown less reliant on the "there ain't shyt else on, might as well" group.

I have no idea why Tibbets insists on a Taurasi/cunningham/Griner lineup late in the 4th of close games. Griner has never been able to defend the pnr her entire career and at this point, she definitely cant recover fast enough to help a 42 year old Taurasi and slow ass Cunningham.
