Also why can't WNBA players catch the ball? Is it slick? I swear a lot of these women cannot catch a pass in the paint or grab a rebound to save their life.

my theory is their hands are a little too small. they use a ball that is only one size smaller than a NBA ball. if they used one that was two sizes down, they would probably grip it much better but shooting would be awkward.
