I’m pretty sure it’s fairly accurate. Larry was a real no nonsense ultra competitive a$$hole. I know country white dudes like him. They feel like they’re from a different era of time.

This might have been my favorite episode of the season, and I've loved a lot of these episodes. I really hope the show lasts long enough for them to get to all the Celtics-Lakers finals series.

You tryna tell me Larry was like Belichick with the media back in the day?

That's how the book portrays him. The sense I got wasn't so much that he's like Belichick, where you could kind of tell he just didn't like dealing with them (that would more describe Kareem), but he wasn't really one to talk much and definitely didn't have Magic's charisma.
