local shop got dat jordan cab on sale for dirt cheap, scooped up 6 bottles intending to save most of them for the hamptons next week but 1 got away from me
went perfectly w that grilled steak and home made caeser salad night
Grabbed a bottle of that at my local place about a month ago too when they had it on sale. Never had it before so i didn't get multiples. Saving it for a special occasion. Is it worth the price?
how much you pay? what year?
kinda subjective i guess, but really depends on your personal taste. impo jordan puts out pretty consistently good cab (some years better than others) but i'm a fan .
'09; after discounts and coupons I only paid like $18, but normal price is $65.
I assume it'll be good, but will it be ?
just ask the mods to merge it with the other one...Thx. My bad. How do I kill the thread?
this man also knows his stuff....great taste sir. i love Gewurztraminers too....nice light crisp white.I didn't even know about this thread
I've been a straight up wino since '08. Malbecs are my favorite, particularly Alamos. I love the robust flavor and spiciness. Raymond Vineyards makes the best Cab I've had before. Rioja tempranillos are another go to. I love bold, heavy tannin wines like red zins, syrahs and shiraz as well. I don't really fukk with white wine any more. M. Chapoutier makes the best white wine I've ever had though. It's a Rhone blend Côtes-du-Rhône White Belleruche 2012 M.CHAPOUTIER
I might have a riesling or, very rarely, a rose on a hot summer day once in a while, but never a bottle. White Zin and Moscato is the devil Gewurztraminers are a nice alternative to people still stuck in that white zin, moscato life.
up here in Woodinville, WA they have the Chateau Ste. Michelle winery witch is pretty damn good.....Im not much of a wine drinker but alot of friends I have up here put me on......I only knew about Mondavi and I have been reading up and trying some new ones......any recommendations you guys have please drop them.....
