That opening was great. This show is pure sci fi cliche yet high octane entertainment. I’m totally ok with this version of the show. I still very much enjoy it. Just Bc it isn’t season 1 level mastery doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy it like say ppl do other shows that are just as entertaining.

I enjoyed the drone warfare and the Maeve/Dolores showdown with Dolores leading Maeve inside the box with each having their drone/machine ready to shoot at the other

As to why Maeve didn't hack Dolores drone I'm not sure, her machine whispering powers have been spotty
Also swords/knives are just much cooler weapons on screen then guns. Something visceral about seeing a blade tear through flesh, even if the flesh is synthetic host flesh, word to Musashi
Bernard/Stubbs have been on a giant escort mission this entire season
Caleb's backstory was heavily foreshadowed, aside from the outliers hunting other outliers. Maybe since he is 'awoken now' and has a new mission, his character will be more interesting

It was for the EMP pulse they mentioned earlier in the episode when they first entered the facility. I believe she said Serac had it there as a safeguard for Solomon, but she used it to stop Maeve from slicing her up.

Remember when all these characters, human or not, were facing their humanity in the light of newfound awareness about their reality? Now they're generic action heroes/villains in the most generic of sci-fi plots. This shyt is why you can never put too many women in your writer's room. Good luck with season 4, brehs. I'm out after the finale.

Good Episode.... Entertainment wise they are killing it. Story wise, shyts all over the place tbh. Glad we got the Caleb backstory but it so late in the season. Still don't fully understand Maeve motivation for trying to kill Delores. I was hoping at some point they'd team up. I really don't have a clue of what Bernard and Stubbs are doing. Feels like they wasted them and William this season. I don't know what I'm expecting in the finale and hope we don't get a 2 year gap between seasons
