I cannot reiterate this enough, but these dudes are the scumbags of scumbags. I don't think cops have ever been portrayed like this on TV. and I'm sure this is only the tip of the iceberg as this likely goes on in every major city.
Really I never got that the shield was anti dirty cops from watching it giving how vic was always able to get over on the "good" cops trying to bring him down hell look at how they did jon had vic bang his wife and sent him to jailI believe they're doing a better job than "The Shield".
I always felt that The Shield was secretly trying to say "we NEED cops like these, that get things done because they don't play by the rules!"
I like the way this show makes it clear that this Task Force will even rob from each other if they can get away with it.
The creator of shield said he would get cops all the time and say they knew a guy just like Vic in our department. This things go on everywhere on a massive scale. The greedy/goofies just get thrown to the wolves every once in a while and then you get this.I cannot reiterate this enough, but these dudes are the scumbags of scumbags. Yeah, Vic was secretly an "anti-hero" to many people .Really I never got that the shield was anti dirty cops from watching it giving how vic was always able to get over on the "good" cops trying to bring him down hell look at how they did jon had vic bang his wife and sent him to jail
I think they watched the scene where Suiter is watching the news when Wayne and crew are getting arrested and was like "Yo...we need to add in some flashbacks where this nikka took some money or planted evidence to remind the audience why he's "tripping" right now. All this dry ass nikka did was slightly widen his eyes".I agree with you on this, mostly.
Even in the scenes where he's trying to get people to give him information, the scene is supposed to play out like "they ain't talking to him because they don't talk to police" but because of Jamie's hard to read style of acting (or being) it feels more like "they ain't talking to him because this police officer's vibe is off"
He probably would have been better being one of the crooked officers in GTTF with Jenkins.

Family did an independent autopsy and ruled it homicide, allegedly.I see they setting it up for Suiter to "commit suicide" which I believe is the official story on record. After reading that he was set to testify, I'm sure it was a hit.
Thank goodness for this show it’s just show’s how one part of the city government is corrupt but the whole damn city government need to be under federal review
