To act like that show was highly praised or had a large following isn't accurate. It is part of the drama drought HBO experienced recently.
I did not act that way. Hence the term casuals. Only hardcore TV nerds and critics watched it. But those who did realize season 2 and 3 are the best thing on TV this decade. It was highly praised by everyone who stuck with it.

Judge shyt you haven't seen brehs. Ignore the universal acclaim reviews and say it was not highly praised brehs.
Except it didn't get universal acclaim.
You are the first person I ever heard say it is the best show of the decade. Just trying to find out if there is any type of consensus for that idea. :yeshrug:

The only two people I know that stan The Leftovers are @obarth and @FlyRy and they both admit season 1 (out of 3 seasons) isn't all that. :skip:
@Adam3000 is a fellow stan. I really like season 1, but the following seasons are vastly superior, not only to season 1 but to pretty much anything put out on TV after. In judging Lindelof, that fact is important because season 1 covered the entire book the show is based on. So to have run out of source material yet put out the type of quality he did speaks volumes to his progression as a writer. Bringing up Lost, when talking about Lindelof is not only tired, but reeks of laziness. It's been nearly a decade and he's done other shyt in that time frame. Nothing about Watchmen inherently reminds me of Lost. It's like dudes that constantly compared Homeland to 24 because of who the showrunner is.

Look up season 2 and 3 on metacritic and RT. It will make tons of best of decade lists

Yeah I did look up their RT before my last comment. And season 2 has 94%. That's high but not universal. Season 3 with 99% is more like it. But two of the three seasons didn't reach that mark and it ended after 3 seasons to little to no fanfair so more importantly it didn't capture a passionate audience. We will see, but for now it is just your personal opinion. :yeshrug:

Well, at least you know where the avatar is from. If you had a Leftovers avatar I probably wouldn't. lol

I mean he is best known for Lost, which I overall liked just think it ended poorly. And he is using the cliffhanger/leaving the audience questioning what is going on device on Watchmen like he did Lost.
And looking at his IMDb he wrote Tomorrowland and Prometheus since Lost which both sucked and World War Z was decent but nothing special. The best thing on there since Lost that I have seen he wrote is Star Trek Into Darkness which I personally liked but I know a lot of Trekkies hate on it.
