I read all of the Fire and Ice books
I read The Watchmen comics and watched the movie
Game Of Thrones was just the books in television form. You could've only watched the show and still understood everything.
This Watchmen show is set in a timeline that is completely separate from the Watchmen books and movie. It's its own story. If someone is just starting out with no prior knowledge of the books or movie, you're still supposed to be able to have an understanding of what is going on. Now, I happen to think the show does a good job of keeping everything clear so that it's not necessary to have read the books or watched the movie. But I have the advantage of having read the source material. So I can't say someone's view that it doesn't do that is a "retard" when they're going in blind, because it's not supposed to matter.

I do feel like they need to do better at explaining certain shyt but this the same dude thay made “Lost” so....
People shouldn’t assume that everyone has read the source material or watched the movie (even though you should’ve at least watched that).

Its interesting but thats my beef with Lindelof....since there is source material most things will clear up.....but his previous shows did the same shyt.
They said they show has lost viewers also...

Well I stopped watching Lost because of that bullshyt of going seasons and seasons without explaining shyt
I think the show will get better but the ONLY reason I kinda sort of understand what's going on is from here, watching the original movie, and wikipedia. Daredevil is a great show as well but there was no fukking "mystery" and needing to know source material. The show is good but they need to start explaining shyt soon instead of people wondering why the fukk a space ship came and dropped a magnet on a car or why (what I'm assuming is the same car) just falls out the sky almost on top of Laurie aka Silk Spectre 2 which they barely mentioned that she was (so someone new to the show would have to go figure it out).
