This is a good point. I immediately thought that they were filming an episode of that TV show we saw and Laurie was just playing herself at first.It makes perfect sense if you're paying attention
One thing I forgot to add about this latest episode... the scenes film outside of "Tulsa" felt jarring but in a good way. That scene with the F.B.I. setting up fake ass Batman felt like something off a Hollywood lot and I liked it because once Silk was dropped into Tulsa it showed how immersive and distinct this community is.
