Brehs I'm not sure Veidt is in this reality. I think Dr. Manhattan might have breh trapped somewhere. He seems like a prisoner.

I watched episode one again and I saw again that the newspaper said Veidt was dead. He could have faked his death but something is off there. The nikka ate a tomato from a tree like an apple. Tomatoes don't grow on trees in real life.

I could be wrong tho so....

Read through this thread to see if anyone remarked on the fact that Ozymandias' "Watchmaker's Son" plot line seems to be a reference to "The Prestige". He did the exact same "Transported Man" trick as in the movie, using clones. Instead of drowning the clone he's burning him up.

As for the tomato tree, he's just showing off the genetic engineering skills he showed in the movie.

As for why people think he's dead, he has the ability to create clones, so...

Others have commented on this but to be clear, the Nazi's didn't give one shyt about black people, they just wanted to divide the American army as much as possible and this was one way.

Plus these were WWI Germans, not Nazis yet. The flyer was already old by the time they wrote the note on it in Tulsa, and even that was before WW2.

I absolutely love this show. My only gripe is how her husband is a whole house wife lol. The only thing he probably had in that Christmas box was a kitchen set. I wanna believe that's who saved her when she got shot but I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't the one
