I think his fam's history ties into the riots and he's was trying to whitewash some that out. They def didn't just show the photo of him with his pops for no reason.

“served the black cop up” as in he provided the info that he was one...him being @ the play is irrelevant...think you’re mistaking my statement as he did it himself...as to the other poster’s point it’s not impossible to fathom that given his position he (cac who got hanged) also had others on the inside who could’ve easily made it difficult for dude to access his weapon...the black cop was even hesitant to talk to the other person on the radio when he realized who responded to his call on some damn this is the last person I need on the other end right now in this moment of crisis
as to him going hard @ the dudes in the airplane...they could’ve possibly revealed his position...who knows? he went way too hard @ them for it to be overlooked as him just doing his job tho...very early on tho...just speculation...but him being @ the play is a non-factor...it will be interesting to see why he went so hard @ the dudes in the airplane who almost escaped to the point of not only risking his life but the other chic as well

Comic book fanboys (and I used to think of myself as one and yeah, I think the OG graphic novel is brilliant) can fukk all the way off. And I agree with earlier cat who said many of them are alt-white red hat lil bytches. These dudes said the last 2 Avengers movies were a few of the greatest ever made. I'm supposed to take they rants serious after that? I ain't even a big Lindelof stan but my attitude going in was "OK, got something interesting here?" and episode 1 alone said hell yeah. I'ma enjoy this even if it doesn't live up to the legacy as an interesting experiment and probly plenty entertaining too
