How the fukk we gonna kill their military general for no reason and then in turn impose sanctions like they started this :dwillhuh::gucci::mjtf::what::dahell:

this is the most fukked up thing. Iran’s government is terrible but we’re clearly the aggressors in this. We keep poking and fukking with them, crippling their economy with sanctions, backing out of the nuclear deal for no reason.. like what do we expect will happen? Iran to just roll over and take it?

not only are we destabilizing that region with these games.. why would any other country even come to the table with us at this point.. we clearly can’t be trusted..

That’s the funniest part about all this. This all started with the overthrow of Mossadeq. All the bullshyt American sloganisms don’t mean shyt in the face of that.
Yup. Crazy how the average American doesn’t know anything about the Mossadeq coup. I told my girl and she couldn’t even believe America would do that. The average person doesn’t ever know all about how America subverted democracy through economic and military force all over the globe post-WW2. America has no moral authority in Iran period over that alone, never mind supporting Iraq against them in the 80’s, shooting down the passenger jet, crippling sanctions, pulling out of the nuclear deal, assassinating Soleimani, etc.

Which is a very sad indictment on how trash our education system is. Many of the major issues in the world today from Iran to the migrant crisis can be traced directly back to American geopolitical fukkery. Its kinda crazy to say but Iran has been hella cool through these decades, a more volatile country would’ve went the war route.

Someone who came of age during the Mossadeq years got every reason to hate America to the core and I can’t blame them. They could’ve been a much different country without the fukkery America brought.

Anyway to find out if it was the only plane in the air at the time or were there several flights?

From what i read today...it was the only one that departed tehran at that time. Was apparently delayed aswell.

Also...it’s quite strange how the Iranian gov’t reached a preliminary conclusion of mechanical error so soon without recovering the black boxes/FDR :francis:

There were 3 pilots (including a 737 instructor captain) in that flight deck with a combined 31,200 flight hrs between the 3 of them.

11600, 12,000 & 7600 hrs respectively. All on the 737.

Safe to say that was a well trained crew of pilots.

There was a story that claimed Trump has been a speed addict for a long time. I wonder if what happened last night scared him so much that he had to snort a mountain of crushed speed all morning.

Could be amphetamines or it could be hypomania as I’ve heard some doctors suggest. People with hypomania sleep very little, have boundless energy and get bored really quickly. Teddy Roosevelt is another President that was thought to have hypomania. He slept very little and always had to be moving, when people wanted to talk to him they had to follow him and walk with him because he couldn’t sit still.
