Well if he was really responsible for American deaths and plotting to attack the U.S. again, then it was justified. It’s hard to believe anything Trump says though.

It wasn’t true from what the Iraqi PM is saying. My issue with that argument of him endangering lives is that he was a General. Not a rogue terrorist like bin Laden or al-Baghdadi. While he was a threat to U.S. lives in the region that’s because he’s a bureaucrat following the orders of his superior. In comparison, how many generals and officials are walking around Washington with blood on their hands? This place would be a shytshow if everyone had Trump’s same energy.

I’d say at the very least if you gon pluck someone like that off, it’s in a much more discreet fashion and in a way that doesn’t disrespect the sovereignty of a host state and make you look foolish for killing a man that was on a diplomatic mission.
