Couldnt they eventually mesh together in a future spiderman movie if this pops?
this movie is either going to be ass or awesome no in between. hardy is one of my favorite actors ever.. i'm pulling for him
The movie and Tom Hardy with his accent both appear to be objectively terrible. The movie appears to be everything that people believe to be wrong with superhero movies. I see why Martin Scorcese and practically everyone else in Hollywood believes that superhero movies are the lowest of the low with the way that posters are praising that trailer.

This would’ve been MUCH better... finally a true venom to go after Spiderman
I don’t understand sony sometimes... I’m interested in the movie but they’re fukking retarded.. why not save this venom for later
"If Marvel won't let me have Spider-Man, I'll make my own universe without him!"Avi Arad is a self entitled idiot trying to make a point.

I don't think many people are complaining about it. He was funny but in a more of darker Tarantino kind of way, like oops i just ate someones face off, must be parasites. I don't mind that kind of humor for Venom. It's when you have people telling too many pop culture jokes and talking about Kevin Bacon that i start to feel like they are forced and corny. Not every character is supposed to the same personality of Deadpool or Spiderman. They can all be funny, but i still prefer different types of comedians, i don't want every black comic i see to be Kevin Hart. Throw in some Dave Chappelle every now and then. Ironman has always been funny in his own way.
Just inserting random pop culture references is fun comedy when there is a legit reason for the pop culture reference. Like the Mary Poppins joke was funny because he actually did look like Mary Poppins that joke worked on every level.See..... I see the “Kevin Bacon” and “parasite” as pretty much the same thing.
Both were humorous moments but neither were punch line type jokes.
It was more about timing and delivery.
Some one made a statement like “He’s one of earths mightiest heroes” and all that happened was a non human character that’s not familiar or in the know ask “oh like Kevin Bacon?” But wasn’t trynna make a joke or be funny, just was a legit actual question from their POV at that moment.
I think in that store some similar he wasn’t making a joke to that store clerk, he was serious with her response to his shocking action. But evidently his portrayal Eddie is going to be a bit of a more shy, timid, passive awkward type portrayal so it adds humor in his delivery and plus the moment
If you get makes sense

My main problem with Starlord is his humor is based entirely on pop culture and Spiderman and Deadpool already do that. Too many people using the same jokes gets stale. Now everyone is starting to do that, Okoye -Starbucks, Stark - Ben and Jerry's, Antman - Basken and Robbins? all we're missing is a Dunkin Donut joke, oh wait
Can we have more variance? Falcon is funny and he doesn't make any pop culture references. You dress like a cat? bird suit? I liked that humor too. Rocket is funny and he's joking about artificial body parts. But all these TMZ jokes are too much. They need to fnd their own humor lane and stop recycling the same joke format.
