I enjoyed it. It was straight to the point, I could’ve used more carnage tho. But man the mid credit scene was worth the matinee ticket alone.

overall. Not a bad movie but definitely left a lot to be desired.

They just bullying Marvel right now. Spiderman would be so much better if they gave Fiege full creative control.

I liked it for what it was, entertaining enough. Cletus Cassidy was in his late teens in 1996, so they really want us to believe Woody Harrellson is in his early 40s here?

I mean I understand why Sony decided to do a separate movie, looking at the money they made but I really wish they’d have gone the normal route with venom and instead introduced him in the spider man mcu with a traditional Eddie Brock I’m it.

I really would’ve preferred a more menacing venom fighting Spider-Man than this clownish anti hero venom we got. Seems like a missed opportunity but again, like I said they’ve made good money from the stand alone movies so they won’t mind.
