Taking my son to see this today. Been avoiding reading posts because Idk who’s using the spoiler cap and who’s not since it’s been out a week or 2 now.

just wondering if someone can quote me and confirm if the movie did Carnage justice or not

Yeah I know they can’t go all rated R.. I just wanted to know if they at least did him decent to PG standards

Comic Carnage couldn’t be duplicated in the cartoons either

I didn't like the movie. It was a lot of time of nothing happening then a big fight at the end. They portrayed Cletus as a lonely guy looking for love and friendship. That's not who the character is in the comics at all. The comedy felt forced because nothing was happening so it felt like Family Guy comedy where they want to do a joke but don't work to make it fit a story.

If I didn't have AMC alist and actually paid for this movie I would want my money back.

it’s aight.. they went a more comedic route than I thought. Carnage was cool on film if you’re going into it knowing they ain’t finna pull off comic Carnage in a PG movie.

the mid credit scene is what you’re gonna be looking forward to but it’s all over YouTube

This movie did have an late 90s early 00s vibe. Back when studios really didn’t give a shyt about the characters besides the IP. I got catwoman vibes with this movie.
