Good last 5 minutes of the game tonight. Coby really settled down. Cam came to play as well as Luke. Brooks is our best true big man. He really showed out tonight. Manly is trash though. I wonder why Huffman didn't get any pt. I need for Nas to look for his shot a little more, but he definitely played well on the defensive end tonight.

My goodness Sterling is hot garbage. I felt the entire team played tight last night, which isn't the best sign in the world. Wofford beat them last year and returned all the hot shooters and you can tell UNC was pressing a little bit as if they were a little hesitant about if Wofford would punch them in the mouth. Good for them, Kenny played great defense and they never got untracked. Small ball won't get it done this year. UNC absolutely needs the bigs to come along and I just don't see it right now. Brooks is basically a 4 and Luke is basically a 3/4. Manley or Huffman has to give UNC something at least on the boards.

I was encouraged by what I saw outta Cam. He hit some great shots and he showed some fire last night too. With the schedule and the make up of this team, I expect this team to be a slow burn this year. December will not be kind to the Heels, but by February, I think this team will be primed and ready to compete for a chip. After watching Dook and UNC both last night, I feel like UNC will sweep Dook this year.

This is the deepest UNC team I’ve seen in a while. They all are playing some damn good defense right now too. The rebounding shouldn’t be a problem but Manley was awful last night. The guards kept force feeding him and he still wasn’t coming up with anything. Seventh Woods and Garrison Brooks seemed to play very well together. Nassir Little played great with how much time he got. I’m sure Roy wants to bring him along slowly.

Leaky Black is gonna be a PROBLEM brehs. :banderas: No hate against B Rob but his minutes need to go to Leaky.

Side note, y’all notice how high Coby dribbles the ball? :dwillhuh: He needs to tighten that shyt up. He try’s to play a little too fast also. Hopefully as the season goes on he’ll get a little more in control.

B Rob should never be in the game unless someone is in serious foul trouble imo. Not a fan.

And Coby is often times out of control with his handle, def gotta get his handle under control. I love how he plays though. We havent had a PG that pushes it like him since Lawson. Brooks is looking like a man this year. Love the intensity he's playing with. Nassir looks great as well. I'd like to see him put in a position where he can really flex is athleticism on nikkas.

Seventh looks like the same dude from last year. Still a poor shooter, still a bad decision maker. Man I really thought he was gonna be a star.

where they cross-over and clap boards
I actually trust Seventh with the ball in his hands more than Coby right now. Coby needs to learn when to use his quickness and when to slow down... he's playing 100 mph every time he touches the ball. Leaky tho... :wow: :whoo: looking like Theo but with a better jumpshot and smoother. Roy let him run point some last night. Cam's shot is money right now, every time he shoots I think it's going in. Nas got that THans motor, you can't coach that. We're about 10 deep right now

Seventh has been playing good. Worked with Kendall Marshall a lot over the summer. Dealt with a lot of injuries last year. He grew a inch since he’s been healthy and should’ve redshirted last year but It’s still early with him since he’s still very young.

As it stands right now, we have games this season against teams with these rankings

1
3
4
9
10
11 or 17 depending on who we play Friday
13
14
16

And thats not counting the 4-0 unranked Texas Longhorns, who we play Thursday.

This schedule is brutal. But there won’t be a team more battle tested come March.

Seventh with another solid game. Nas just seems to always be around the ball. He could be a Kawhi Leonard type player if he worked on his handle and mid range

Love Nassir's game. He just seems to always be around, making big plays.

It's refreshing seeing us hitting 3s and making our free throws. Teams like UVA can't play us how they used to, forcing us to shoot perimeter shots and preventing fast break points. I don't really see a weakness with us now.
