I'm liking what I'm seeing from Garrison. Explosiveness around the bucket, high energy, and touch. If he can become a guy teams have to worry about down low, that'll take pressure off Maye (and also help hide some of his deficiencies)

Love Nassir's game. He just seems to always be around, making big plays.

It's refreshing seeing us hitting 3s and making our free throws. Teams like UVA can't play us how they used to, forcing us to shoot perimeter shots and preventing fast break points. I don't really see a weakness with us now.

Roy's roster composition skills are off the charts. He been in his bag ever since the NCAA started snooping around. If UNC gets any thing from Manley, this is a championship squad. 5 players avg double figures and scored 100 in 3/5 games. Those numbers won't stay that way, but that's a helluva baseline to start. That "juggernaut" of 3 top 10 picks in Durham hasn't seen 100 since UK laid down for them. And that's with a service academy and a directional school on their schedule. Who's gonna stop UNC from out scoring them??? Plus the level of defense they will be playing come tourney time....all those bodies and Coby pushing the pace at a break neck speed.....my boy think I'm bugging but I would not be shocked if UNC swept Dook this year.

garrison has some brice to him. he's still only a sophomore. senior year garrison is going to be a problem.

leaky is so long and intelligent. he's got a lot of theo's good qualities with none of the bad.

sev is a perfect backup pg for this team. if coby develops even a tad bit more this year, its going to be a ridiculous pg situation.

once kenny's shot starts falling, its over for everyone. this team is stacked and perfectly balanced

He’ll probably be gone by then tho. If he progresses this year and shines next year the nba is snatching him.

I can see that. But he'll have a big hole to fill when Cam, Luke, and Kenny leaves. Projecting the roster next year, if UNC has Cole, Coby, Leaky, Garrison, Manley as a starting lineup, Leaky might get exposed for his lack of a consistent 3 ball. I don't see his stroke changing that significantly in 2 years. That's the only reason I think he'll be there 3 years. I hope I'm wrong cause the kid is so nice and the pace he plays at is perfect.

I could be over projecting lol. I haven’t even seen his long range shooting form yet. I avoided watching highlights of the freshman including nas because I wanted to come into the season with a fresh take. I was instantly impressed with black tho. Obviously I like the size/length for a guard, but I agree with you on his pace and poise. He smooth out there like he sees the game a little different. Ive see him making nba type moves. It’s going to be nice watching that kind of talent develop.

Yeah buddy. At least two of his turnovers from last night was due to him seeing two steps better than the person receiving the ball. I love the pace he plays at.

Once Coby figures out how to control his speed it’s gonna get ugly. Watching him run at a full sprint and come to a dead stop to hit a pull up jumper was amazing

Brooks is just a placeholder at the 4 while Roy continues to groom Nas for that spot. I’d be shocked if he wasn’t starting by conference play

Leaky is far ahead of where I thought he’d be at this point. Wouldn’t surprise me to see a lot of him being the lead ball handler and letting Coby focus on scoring in the future

this team is so much more balanced and talented top to bottom than duke. don't tell that to espn tho. if zion had thrown down the alley that nas did on monday, it would have led sportscenter

our senior wings and size + nas + the pg depth matches up sooooo well with duke and we are going to beat the brakes off them in chapel hill. feel good about the sweep this year

that three "point" guard lineup next year with coby, cole and leaky is going to be a problem. hell we could go four deep and trot out sev, cole, coby, leaky with mando at the 5. gonna enjoy the hell outta this year but the lineup combinations next year are going to be a blast
