roy flat out doesnt trust him. honestly wouldnt shock me to see him say fukk it and leave early.
roy is going after zion hard with no open scholarships so he has to know jalek or cam are considering leaving early.

I love Roy, but he fukking up with Jalek. He gotta let the kid learn and not play constantly looking over his shoulder. Especially when you see some of the bone headed forced plays Berry be having and never get the yank for. He gotta let the young guys play. When B-Rob was in last night, when the shot clock was running down, he was shooting without an issue.....just playing. But I also remember in the game where he came off a pin down screen wide open on a three and he didn't shoot. He looked real hesitant. I don't know if he thinking too much about taking quick 3's before a post touch or what, but that was extremely odd and you can tell Roy is in these kids heads. I saw the same shyt happen to 7th last year. Just out there over thinking shyt. And it can't all be about defense, cause lead foot Marshall couldn't stay in front of anybody, but Roy reluctantly made the move and benched Larry Drew.
I hope he don't try this shyt with Coby next year. A kid with that scoring ability needs to be let loose. I couldn't imagine Roy letting a kid like Trae Young cook in his system as a freshman. He better change it fast, cause no way kids with the NBA on their mind will sign up for this shyt where the coach pulling you cause you turned the ball over or was late closing out. That's one thing that K has over Roy....he in game coaches while Roy rather coach you on the bench. Dook's perimeter defense is trash and Duval can't hit the side of a building with his jumper, but K let's him work his kinks out between the lines. Roy always coaching like he'll be with these kids for 3 years.

i think either cam (because he'll be 23) or jalek (because he's frustrated about mins and has already had some problems with academics) make the jump even if they arent promised a first (or even second) round grade.

Something I can’t stand that has happened a lot this year is the clear out for Theo at the end of the half. I get that he’s our best facilitator but almost always he ends up throwing up some off balance garbage.
