Oh yeah, that's what got him caught. Dude had terrible form on that TD attempt IIRC. Didn't change levels or nothing, he just tried to bend down and grab that nikka's waist :mjlol:

Yep, no set up or anything. Going for a TD when you're clearly winning the stand-up? No sense. :why:

Don't get me wrong, hes I'm not going to overreacting, full blown hes overrated mode. But MW is a murderers row at the top right now and hes the odd man out. He reminds me of a 185 BJ Penn where things came natural to him but he never expounded upon them or worked hard to change his weaknesses. And its evident by his frequent camp changes and just going around doing whatever he wants

Mousas is just outside the top 5 at MW and can still crack that top 5. Plus, he's relatively young and hasn't taken much damage in his career. It's obviously back to the drawing board for him, but he still has the skills/potential to make a run at the title in the future.

Reem broke Rothwell's arm with a kick and Rothwell KO'd him with the same arm.

fukking bad ass :wow:

I've been saying for months Weidman's biggest threats are Jacare and Rockhold. I still standing by that :manny:

honestly, reem's mma stand-up is wack. he just throws some kicks here and there and looks for the big shot, not much combos, feints, footwork or anything...and to add to that, he has crappy defense (its almost like he forgets he's not wearing big gloves, plus he doesn't have great reflexes) and a weak chin. i mean, his biggest strength is clinch range up against the cage where he can throw knees and elbows and short punches and shyt.

jacare-weidman is cool, i'd watch it. i don't think jacare wins though. he's not gonna be able to take weidman down at will and he'll have more success on his feet than mousasi did. chris controls distance extremely well and at the same time stays aggressive and has power in his hands. if jacare manages to get weidman down, it would be interesting though. i mean, mousasi's guard is awesome, he is great off his back...one of the best in mma but jacare kept passing him and controlling him and had some submission attempts, then eventually took his neck and finished him...weidman's bjj is strong but i dunno if it's that good, particularly in those positions. we haven't seen it.

i'd bet that weidman wears jacare out and has a late finish.

I honestly don't see him beating anyone ranked ahead of him after that performance tonight. I know Machida footwork and strikes would give him troubles but I didn't think he would be that poor against Jacare.

Great night of fights:ehh:

Lauzon is lucky they called the fight when they did, dude was starting to gas and was looking sloppy with the striking and rushing in like that..Micheal could of landed a hard counter to turn it around.

I forget sometimes how fast mitriones big goofy ass is:russ:

I thought reem working with greg jackson might have a set gameplan on working kicks and knees to the body, getting in close..use the clinch to maybe takedown and gnp/submit ben. welp:yeshrug:

Jacare is in full beast mode:whew: getting better at 34!? Gegard was just using the up jab with no movement or putting punches together.:childplease:

bellator..

Who the fukk is Lavars grappling coach?..James Toney!?:what:if your not even going to try to get better..go holla at glory.

that KO on ward:noah:

Mo is going full heel:lolbron:and doesnt give a fukk.

Bonnar/Ortiz was straight WWE shyt.

Lavar tapped so fukking quick too. Still, can't believe there's a fighter with a shytty enough ground game to get RNC'ed by Cheick fukking Kongo :mjlol:

Was great to see the Barn Cat back. I was :laff: at Ward doing the cross eyed Undertaker situp after getting KTFO

Lavar doesn't train grappling....like at all. He's a pure striker and just goes with that. :salute: Can't blame him for not wanting to spend time rolling around a mat with dudes.

He and had a decent lil run in the UFC with just that, it's just every time he builds a little momentum someone fukks around a subs him. Entertaining fighter when he's on his feet but shyt goes south QUICK once he's not.

Stylistically, Jacare matches up better with Mousasi than Machida does.
