The one time you tried, I showed you counter evidence and you dug in your heels here on the hill that Florida's numbers and Cali's numbers are comparable but since Florida didn't lockdown that means corona lockdowns are overblown. Considering the Trump administration had zero plan the entire pandemic, it would make logical sense that any administration with even the hint of a plan would have faired much better. You don't have to be an epidemiologist or any other kind of expert to know that.

I literally live between Florida and NY and both states are open as fukk, idk what in the hell he talking about. People are flying to different cities hitting up clubs concerts etc. Only time this country was "close" to a shutdown was late March into May.

In nys we're still open, NYS is going by zones that's just a fukking fact. Club bars gyms etc are still open depending on what the covid rate % of the region is. We aren't " locked down" as we were in April where everything was closed including car washes.

No, they wouldn't. Most of the bad behavior being exhibited during the backlash to lockdowns, masks, etc. emanated from misinformation flowing directly from the White House.

People do take their cues from their leaders either actively or subliminally.

If the government response had provided aid, been straightforward with the American people, and rolled out an actual plan it would've changed things.

I'm not saying the threat would've been eliminated but more than a few thousand people would still be living with proper response and messaging.

It goes by percentage of region spread which i think probably is honestly the best course of action for both science and the economy. Obviously the downside of that is people travel but I think it's been mostly successful. Where as you have entire states not giving a fukk about what region is seeing ridiculous death totals and only looking at cooked state numbers ( Florida)
