There has ALWAYS been a version or two of those mindsets you've listed within the GOP, hell if you listed the Democratic party you could go on for even longer, the real split is those insane MAGA fukks and everyone else.

If Trump decides to stay on code then the stories of the GOP's demise have been greatly exaggerated but definitely if he pushes back against them as revenge that could fukk things up real good

The thing that makes this different though... is that now the %’s are more evenly distributed throughout the ranks....

before it was like “awe I upset the tea party / libertarians.... go take ya 5 Montana voters and stfu”

but now all those factions I listed all take up a sizable % of the GOP :ohhh:.

but I think distilling the gop into just “magas & everyone else” isn’t digging deep enough.

Nine people dapped this garbage. :scust:

Says the nikka that can’t think critically about a 9th grade question. If you think Trump wouldn’t have done worse during 9/11, you’re clearly full of sh*t :heh: If you trust Trump as a war time president, all your posting privileges should be revoked :scust:

I still can't put Trump ahead of Buchanan on Johnson. Johnson is definitely # on WOAT. The damage that he did to black people and the nation at large lasted 100 years.
That's fair, especially from a view centric to black people.

As chief executive of 300+ million people and the world's only superpower though, I'd argue Trump had a responsibility far greater they could've imagined. He failed to protect his own country(Covid), repeatedly attempted to use foreign actors to subvert democracy, and incited the first attack on his own country in modern history. Hard to ignore.

The Execution of this Inauguration Party for Joe Biden is subtle but throwing a ton of shade already.

Obviously White people, even progressives, are still hesitant even to admit that Blacks were responsible for winning not just the election but also the GA Special Election earlier this month.

Biden though, for all of his faults, has never shy away from Blacks even though he has made some mistakes in the past but admit he is learning from them. Biden knows they won him the nomination over Bernie in the South. Plus I am sure that he owes Obama a lot as well for choosing him to be Veep.

So what does Biden do? Bring on a Admin of diverse people, and asking black performers and poets help with this celebration.

This shyt driving the racists to FOX or OANN as a lifeboat from this America.

Bernie bros told me he'd bring on moderate/conservative cacs though.....I'm so confused

Wray is a fukkboy too. No smoke for the white supremacists. His department was going after BLM and he was sitting idle. No task force on those white supremacists.

There's gonna be one now and the FBI has been involved in some WS group busts, high profile ones recently. He reports to the AG. Also he was confirmed overwhelmingly by congress so, that plus the few warnings the Bureau issued about 1/6 may be enough to save his job. I'd be OK with Biden starting fresh but if even Trump wanted Wray gone, he may be acceptable.

Didn't Wray come out and say they were the biggest Existential threat to the United States? That falls on the ag/ president for not allowing the fbi to spend resources on the matter.

The old guard was there but it was a different faction than his Dad.

His dad definitely wasn't a neoconservative - one of the biggest debates about that era was the extent to which Bush Jr. deliberately sidelined the ppl who agreed with his dad (look up a guy named Scowcroft, who was his dads alter ego) and elevated the mfers who were of his dad's generation but much more expansionist.

I don't believe Dad wasn't pulling the strings on Saddam. It's all right there for everyone to see.. not saying there weren't other voices in the room, but his influence was clear.

This post is exactly everything wrong with how Americans perceive politics and white male privilege rolled into one.

1. I don't have to perceive anything about Bush era politics since we have the luxury of hindsight.
2. Everyone involved in the horrible politics of his administration is a white man, so how is pointing out the fact that everyone misses the architects of those bad politics some sort of example of white male privilege?

Regarding trump v bush....

I was younger during the bush era.. was 7 during 9/11 so I really wasn't able to fully grasp his fukk ups in real-time.

But I will say this after re-listening to speeches and look back at events with a more mature mind...

It is obvious bush was incompetent, dumb as fukk, and extremely unqualified.

The difference is bush actually realized that's not a good thing for a president to be, or maybe he didn't but at least listened to aides who said "bruh you a fukking idiot don't say that shyt".

trump wore that shyt like a badge of honor... shyt someone even posted it... a fukking president openly mocking disable people :dead:

Clorox in ya veins:dead:

(224) President Trump claims injecting people with disinfectant could treat coronavirus - YouTube

bruh tell me for one second this man ain't just go off the top with this shyt, no fukking preparation....just "i got this shyt".

I don't care how much better or worse Trump would have done, George W. Bush was a monster and a war criminal and destroyed the American economy TWICE. Only your dumbass, and the 10 people that dapped want to pretend that Bush wasn't that bad because of Trump. By pretending this monster wasn't that bad, you mollify the horror over time. The same thing could happen to Trump, especially if he faces no judgement in the future.
