I was watching Cuomo interview the attorney on CNN last night. I was thinking it would set an interesting legal precedent for Trump here. Pardons would imply that he indeed was leading them on, etc. but then it would also hold him accountable for damages, etc.

This meme is hilarious but when you look at places where fascism ever arises its the upper middle class that is the spine of a fascist movement. They basically turn to fascism when they start to feel the squeeze of bad economic times and or demographic changes when they feel their power is fading away. The fascists tell the upper middle class that the left will take your wealth and make you poor as the lower middle class and those who are in poverty. They yearn to go back to the good old days when their power is strong. They also worship the military, police and paramilitary militias. And in America white conservatives have been brainwashed since the 1950s that the Democrat party is a front to bring communism to the US. It went from the John Birch Society, Reagan Revolution, Contract with America with Newt Gingrich, NeoConservatism with Bush, the Tea Party where you had a marriage between the base and fringe militias/paleoconservative/libertarian movements to now with Trumpism which is white nationalist populism. White conservatives are going even more crazy now because they see demographics in which by 2040 whites will no longer be the majority in this country. This is why I do not forsee the right moderating anytime soon. Matter of fact they may go for a competent charismatic right wing authoritarian which would be the opposite of Trump. The base as we speak is getting more and more radicalized. All the ingredients are there for a violent fascist movement to seize power.
