Yeah, 2 is wrong. Trump does not have intentions to run again, he knows he will lose again. His intentions are to grift his dumb followers for as long as possible, sometimes hinting he will run to string them along. And MAGAs get mad, so what, they've already peaked. It's not like he's gaining supporters but slowly losing them. Time the election rolls around again, things should be fixed up. Already have lowest Unemployment in 50 years, gas prices have been going down for almost 2 months straight, inflation has already peaked and coming down. Unemployment might go up just a little since the rate hikes really haven't kicked in yet but very little.
Donald Trump isn't president today because he wasn't good at the job.
