I think they want to make sure it's as airtight a case as possible given how impeaching Orange Mussolini twice, once after a failed coup, didn't do anything. There's a sense of urgency for this specific committee, but Garland isn't going anywhere after the midterms.

the Senate should be streaming highlights of these hearings on a 24/7 loop and pushing it like and ad campaign.
