So far that's the 2nd most medal collection for the USA after swimming. Once again, American track athletes are failing right now.

Now, the IOC prioritizes bids that have most if not all of the venues already built. Also, there has to be a plan for most of the venues to have the capability to be used by the local public after the Olympics.
