I think the call was right though. Whether the ball was "going to go in" or not, is irrelevant.

It was shot from the left wing. The ball came from the same general direction that the camera is. It was wide right.

The above the rim angle you can make a case that it was goaltending, but no way can you call it live like that. It was a wild shot, that was wide right. Bad call IMO.
