The ill thing about this is that Michael Bay is getting the props and the loathing but the cat directing it has directed some meh to extra meh fliks: Battle Los Angeles, Wrath of the Titans and Texas Chainsaw Massacre the beginning being chief on that list. Just funny how things work

Battle: Los Angeles is a dope flick, tho. The characterization is straight forward, well depicted soldiers, and the action was very intense. Bay would have put too much human emphasis, added some crooked military leader trying to steal alien secrets and the action would have been utterly ridiculous
