we don't need another Hulk movie. Bruce Banner can't carry a movie. No one is getting a solo movie from this point forward, they're always gonna inject another character into it, so this Hulk and Thor pairup is brilliant.

same reason we don't need a fukkin Widow movie... and if they insist, they might as well make it a Widow/Hawkeye movie, and add one of the major characters in for half the movie. she was basically the co-lead in Winter Soldier anyway. Count up her screen time in the MCU and it easily adds up to a movie.

But you just said they can always inject another MCU character in it so it won't be a solo film anyway right ? They can definitely make a Hulk film if Antman works.

Universal has his individual movie rights hostage. that's why it hasn't happened yet. Marvel been trying to get another solo movie for years.. They couldn't get him so they decided to do his story in thor ...

I think that's the point he's definitely one character that should be getting WAY more attention in the MCU. I bet his appearance in this springboards his own solo film for Phase 4 he's one of the most iconic characters they have on deck.

if marvel want to make hulk films they can but marvel would have to break bread with universal for distribution

Breh they just started filming. I don't think anyone was expecting a trailer for Thor. I know they pulled some shyt off with Guardians but I think that was the exception.
