You should be banned until you watch the Dennis Kelly UtopiaCaught up to this the moment I found out they were holding a 12 hour live episode, lol. I still haven't watched Utopia (it's on my to-watch list) but I thought that outside of the first episode this was pretty straight forward in its mystery. Of course we'll see how that changes with the live event and the second half of the series featuring a completely different protagonist but so far it has been great. I wonder how much time they spent on the color grading of the series since most of the beauty of the cinematography comes from the coloring.

Yeah, I knew already about Utopia's visual style. Didn't realize how prevalent it would be in this show as well. Definitely made me more intrigued to get to Utopia.I guarantee they paid particular attention to the color grading....it was very noticeable in "Utopia".
Almost cartoonish, but in a good way. When you watch that series you'll see what I mean.

I'll pick it up right after @MartyMcFly has watched Atlanta. You should be banned until you watch the Dennis Kelly Utopia
I read they shot the colors and frames that way to make it seem like your watching a graphic novel.I guarantee they paid particular attention to the color grading....it was very noticeable in "Utopia".

Since nobody else is watching, Jude Law has been digging a hole for the last hour in wet ground. He now stands above the shallow hole looking like he realized he isn't getting paid enough for this labor.
It's a different experience, that's for sure. It probably doesn't help that because of Covid they had to completely alter their original plans.I've been periodically checking in and will reserve judgement when the 12 hours is up, but I can't help but feel like I'm watching the immersion (from the first three episodes) being buried alive with this performance art.
