The Sinner - Season 2. (Netflix) It’s a similar vibe compared to this show - with the mysterious, unforeseen forces surrounding several murders and missing people. In this series though, it's a little boy who they perceive to be the killer but nothing is what it seems. There is also a cult mind control element. In fact, the same actor playing that schizo cop in The Outsider is in The Sinner, as well. I'm up to episode 4 and it's really good.

But a farfetched theory that is rooted in the "real world" would be more acceptable to people than some folklore about supernatural shapeshifting beings who feed on sadness and misery.
And no one considers the ripple effects from the murders to be anything more than tragic the reverberations left in the wake of a horrific crime. A child is murdered and one parent dies of a "broken heart", another parent attempts suicide and a sibling takes the law into his own hands resulting in his own death...those are all very easy things to accept.
Cold Case was an old person's show too...it just didn't last like Criminal Minds did.watch old people tv shows, brehs and brehettes.

they were on a plane in the morning and back on the plane headed for Quantico the same night - case solved with the help of Penelope's database skills

Nah. Law&Order (original) and Cold Case were for the younger crowd- I call old people shows by what my mom and dad along with what their friends watch. The trio of NCIS, Criminal Minds and CSI

Cold Case was not for old people. Criminal Minds is - my parents had to get their fix of Criminal Minds daily. Not recently - CBS hasn't been the "olds" network over the past couple of years- The Good Wife, The Good Fight and you're just going to ignore that new horror series "Evil" on CBS Access ??

I don't watch CBS like that but there are certain shows that I watch that I liked. I rarely watch network tv. Besides that, I said CBS All Access not the regular CBS. They're different.
