VIDEO GAME THAT PPL
WERE CLAIMING IS CANON.

Morpheus, along with a number of players who chose to join his faction, set about trying to reconstruct Neo’s Residual Self Image — his digitally generated avatar within the Matrix — as a way of hopefully resurrecting him. Frustrated by his failure to do so, Morpheus began demanding the Machines to return Neo’s body. With no other options, Morpheus then began detonating “code bombs” across the Matrix, compromising the integrity of the simulation as a whole as a way of forcing the machines to comply with his demands.

After setting off one of the code bombs, Morpheus was ambushed by the Assassin, a program created by Machines, and killed. Some players at the time theorized that Morpheus might have faked his death and gone into hiding, but this theory remained unresolved at the time of The Matrix Online’s cancelation in 2009.

All they had to do was have him in a pod somewhere in the machine world like Neo, Trinity. Could have written in a “there was no way we could let his code go to waste.” Could’ve had Morpheus end up speaking through the new Morpheus/Smith version like the oracle did to Smith in Revolutions. Giving Neo and Trinity a sign to find him.

It was ok. Doesn’t deserve all the flack it’s been receiving online IMO but then again maybe if I paid money to see it in the theater instead of at home I would feel the same

I'm 10 minutes in and all I can think about is, WHY DOES THIS FILM VISUALLY LOOK LIKE A SOAP OPERA OR TV SHOW?? Is it just me or are y'all seeing this too? Wtf is this?

THEY DIDNT CONTINUE FROM
THE VIDEO GAME ARC
CONSIDERING EVERYONE KEPT
REFERENCING MORPHEUS DEATH
IN THAT.

THEY HAD A GOOD BASE
TO START FROM WITH THIS MOVIE
AND COMPLETELY BUSHED IT.

went and saw it in the theaters wednesday...

it was alright. It's definitely a just catch it on max movie.

Fight scenes were weak..
no cool set pieces like in the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd.
some parts just seemed too wacky

13m at the Box Office so far. That HBO bag better have been plentiful.
