But then they dropped that "Brothers" off the end of their title, and they were suddenly visionaries again.

I think it was deliberately done bad, but I still contend that there were some interesting concepts that arguably stack up against the original, they were just flat out executed poorly. The story had elements with regard to our engagement with media and this tried to carry that torch.
Movie shouldn't have been made, but if they were going to make it, make it right. Don't half ass it. Just reflects poorly on the capability of the brothers/sisters.
