Hella late but finally watched it….I truly enjoyed it. And I’m liking the new “The Two” theme we got now….shame we likely won’t get a sequel
A fan made movie would have gotten straight into the action, connected the dots between Neo being connected to the machines in the last movie and how he got free again, they would have delved deeper into “the real world” actually being just another layer of the matrix that tricked people into thinking they were actually “unplugged” when they weren’t.it feels like a fan made movie
This movie was made by a man who thinks he’s a woman and wanted to make all the political points and high brow commentary he could. It ended up being the epitome of faux wokeness. I can’t believe how much I hated this movie. I checked how much was left while watching about 5 times. They didn’t get a single thing right about this movie and it’s clear they don’t have a clue what Matrix fans care about.

I dont mind a movie that displays social justice commentary as long as it's done well.
This simply was not done well.

What happened here is Wachowski actually hates Matrix fans that love it for it's action. This movie was loudly saying fukk y'all listen to ME and my PHILOSOPHIES because I'm SMART
Finally watched this, was not good at all. I thought the plot was fine tbh, but I didn’t like the color palette in the matrix itself, matrix 1-2 gf that drab color to let you know it was a simulation. Fight scenes were actually terrible and neo did that lame ass force push the entire time, cgi looked cheap and wasn’t feeling the firefights, basically everything that was good in the matrix 1 and 2 wasn’t good in this.

True but his movies dont look like they cost half as much to make as wachowki’s. This, speed racer, Jupiter ascending, cloud atlas….all big budget sci fi movies that are like 3 hours long
