just started from where I left off…just realized I still got 90 minutes left :dead:
The movie wasn't worth watching. It was worse than the Matrix Revolutions by a lot and it's so forgettable when I think of the Matrix series this wouldn't appear in my thoughts unless someone reminded me it existed.

this shyt pissed me off…what a horrible way to start the morning…I can see why ppl forget this movie…cuz it needs to be forgotten…this is one of those sequels where you just entirely deny it’s existence and push it out your mind after watching it…shytty ass money grab…I would’ve been pissed if I paid to see this in theaters or at home for that matter

Was the point of this movie to shyt on the original? Felt like they were making fun of their own movie :wtf:

And I like the Agent Smith actor from Mindhunter but he was horrible in this. What a waste of time this was.

Having had some distance in between my first watch of the movie and now, I'm comfortable with saying that this was basically a "Here, motherfukker, damn," movie.

Supposedly, Warner Brothers was dead set on making another Matrix movie, whether they had the Wachowskis on board or not.

Eventually, the director basically said if someone was going to fukk the series up with a new movie, it might as well be them, and then proceeded to write and direct this shyt while they were processing their parents passing away.

So as a result, the movie itself is really two and a half hours of Lana Wachowski dealing with some real shyt, and taking it out on Warner Brothers, the entertainment industry as a whole, and fandom as a concept on screen.

I don't like dabbling in these types of arguments, but dead ass, if this movie was made by anyone else, it would get absolutely shredded for this being an absurd act of self-indulgence for asking a studio and an audience to pay for a public airing of grievances and therapy.

I never saw this movie, but part of me wants to since it's apparently a meta commentary by the Wachowski's about how they didn't want to make a fourth Matrix movie. :dead:

Maybe I'm just someone who enjoys promoting this type of fukkery, but I thoroughly encourage everyone to see this movie, ESPECIALLY if they go in knowing that it's not good, and that it is one hundred percent a movie about not wanting to make another Matrix movie. :mjlol:

See I didn't have any of this context and now I'm even more annoyed :why:

Just tell WB no or let someone else do it if you're not invested. Who would rather deal with the stress of filming a big ass movie over the alternative?

nah man…this is one of those instances where you listen to those who say don’t watch it…it’s why I never watched it before bcuz the reviews from ppl, critics, etc. were ALL bad…but then I watched john wick 4 and ended up liking it despite my early reservations…then I thought hey maybe matrix 4 might not be so bad…at the very least maybe the action scenes will be worth it…but naw :smh:
