How was Patel in this brehs? I really fukk with that dude as an actor. Trying to not read much about this movie at all before I see it this weekend.

He is great. He was one of the most talented of his crop of actors, that doesn't really get the roles he should. There's a whole lot of quiet time in this movie, so it involves a lot of performance in his movements and eyes.

Based off everything we saw...the only thing keeping his head in tact was the belt.....

I do agree it's left for interpretation

It is left for interpretation, but everything else implied hat he was never in true danger. "Remember, this is only a game."

Even moreso, the Green Knight only offered such a challenge because he knew he wouldn't die. So how could he return the blow if the receiver would die? that wouldn't make his "honorable challenge" fair. I think this also shows why taking off the belt was important.

You knw what, I dislike the end more and more now.

Haha...trust me I been wrestling it in my head.

I actually like the movie more now that I actually think about it...but really torn about how ambiguous some of the scenes later turned out to be

Cornfields, cows, & an one stoplight town
That was super trippy. I feel like it may have been an enhanced if I had taken a few edibles before watching. I enjoyed it though. Not sure I understood everything but I like that too. It was definitely heavy on the symbolism, but it was also spellbinding. I got invested in his journey and the outcome. I'd give it a 8/10.

I just woke up. Had the most vivid and strange dream. This movie stuck with me more than I thought it would. And it's message was like a sermon I needed to hear at this point in my career. The constant questions asked throughout- What makes a knight noble? What makes a one a knight? Are you suddenly a knight or noble because you complete one challenge, or ten? At the heart of all of these questions is one single question- what makes you what you are? It can't be what you wear, what is given to you, what is assigned to you, what you stole, or what position you connived your way into. In the end, what you are is in your heart, how you move through the world, the decisions you make. What a powerful story. Bumping my rating up to a 9.
