I remember Black Sails getting violated like this for its first season and that turned out to be the GOAT pirate show.

I really love how Holden's and Amos' relationship has progressed. Amos would drop anybody and at the start of the series, was more than willing to drop Holden. But over time, Holden earned his respect.
And Holden went from seeing Amos as an animal, to seeing him as a brother.
I love the character growth.
