They mention alot that the showrunner finds out what scenes you hate to do and makes you do more of them.

So I assume Quaid hates being naked (so now he goes naked every time he goes invis)

Laz hates liquids so uhhh more liquids.

Not too sure on everyone else.
It's not that. The creators are just obsessed with male nudity and gay imagery.

I can tolerate it because the other stuff is really good.

I always laugh when people watch a show like this and call something OD. Any kind of wild shyt can happen to anyone on this show - even MM. He's not immune because he's black and some people feel a way about any perceived threat to black masculinity. It was funny, and that's all I took it as not some violation of the MM character. He was at something called Herogasm lol

Next time you feel the urge to quote me and say some dumb shyt like this, don’t.

My post had nothing to do with black masculinity or the perceived threat to that. I’m talking about the fact that it was a gross ass scene. That shyt was gross in Scary Movie-- and that was a White female.

The fact you think covering a grown ass man in nut is “funny” says a lot about you.

Cats surprised Sheriff Hood got hands

Soldier Boy reminds me of

The writing for this show is brilliant. The Bill Cosby joke was not only funny but it also immediately established he's not a hardcore racist. Which is good. We have enough racist characters on this show anyway.

I was gonna say something but he used the caveat “hardcore” so I guess he’s differentiating between a “regular” racist and a “hardcore” one :mjlol: but I feel you tho…a white person liking a black celebrity doesn’t preclude them in the least from being a staunch racist

Yeah, but in a show like this, the racism would be overt, as nothing is subtle in this show.

Look at the confirmed racists in the show: st0rmfr0nt (a nazi), Bluehawk (a Trump supporter analogue) , and arguably Homelander. Out of that group, Homelander is probably the most subtle, but he's literally referred to middle eastern people as "illiterate camel jockeys" and was disgusted with his son learning Spanish. You could also argue that his love for Storm is another clue.

If Soldierboy WAS a racist, the show would absolutely portray that, because every character is over the top. What they were doing with the Bill Cosby quote is showing that Soldierboy is a chauvinist and sexist.

st0rmfr0nt was the Richard Spencer/David Duke hardcore nazi racist who wants to kill all non-white people. In fact anyone not white is not even human to her. She can pretend for a little bit to get by in normal society but the mask is gonna slip sooner or later and they are destroyed or ostracized.

Homelander is the Trumpian racist. Will pretend to be a hardcore racist to st0rmfr0nt types because worship is worship and they need to be worshipped but at the end of the day if you ain’t him you ain’t shyt. He also isn’t above craving Black acceptance. See him feeling inadequate next to Stillwell and nearly breaking down crying when Noir left. Like Trump always measuring himself against Obama and always wanting to hang out with black athletes and celebs

Soldier Boy. We don’t know what his deal is but no doubt his favorite athlete was Joe Frazier and his favorite celebrity is Bill Cosby. He’s probably a bigot but nothing beyond surface level. Like between LBJ and Nixon. Dude doesn’t even understand neo-liberalism and neo-conservatism. He was like “we went back to Afghanistan!?” Lol.

In the comic, it's revealed that Homelander was manipulated to be evil by an evil clone of him who was Black Noir.
Obviously here Black Noir is not Homelander's clone. But in this episode when Homelander was talking to himself it seemed like they were setting up that he has a split personality who is the real source of why Homelander is the way he is. Similar to how Black Noir was in the comic.

I thought that was an interesting story twist when they showed BN maskless
