Can't just be any group of supes to go at Homelander. Soldier Boy has endurance and probably a 10/10 on hand to hand combat. Butcher w/ Compound V is capable at hand to hand combat. Hughie was just there to get in the way.

What nobody is quite sure of is what would happen if Homelander got a direct blast from Soldier Boy. i'd say a blast to the head from 2 feet away would probably end anyone but it's interesting..

This show is so good that i was saying to my friend the whole time "hey hey this the season finale?! "

Blue hawk was basically a street level supe with some super strength as we saw in the church when he was pushing ppl like it was nothing. I guess A-train was just stronger than him.

of course.. A-Train pretty much a less powerful Flash but that'd still be really powerful

Why so surprised Homelander can fight? I would be surprised if he couldn't. He got super strength, super speed and super reflexes/reaction time.

I was actually surprised too, mostly because the moves he was using looked like well trained fighting moves, but they've never shown him training or practicing, he's pretty much only one punch man'ed everytime. It's crazy that it's been this long into the series and this is the first time we've seen him actually put forth effort
