i ask because i want to see if i understood his character.

let's limit it to season one.

A-train is a satire take on black athlete/entertainer him abuse compound v trying to fight off so he don't get kick off the team and get replace by a younger and faster superhero also him willing to do behind close doors in order to stay in the limelight like killing his girlfriend stuff like that is more of a extreme version of the casting couch that involve killing rather than sex

Finally got around to watching this. Loved the season up till the finale.

random induced character stupidity is one of the laziest plot devices you can use.

So the nikka you been hunting for...ages. you finally have him dead to rights, and you don't kill him because of your dead wifes son who is HL seed? Yea it sucks the kid gotta go but now you got HL completely unhinged with a mini HL and the only means you know of killing him under ice. and cancer whats the plan now dumbass.

If the only way you can advance the plot is by making an otherwise intelligent character do something extremely stupid, just walk away from the writers room and come back later with a fresh mind.

I legit hope SB thaws out and kills the whole boys team for their idiocy no cap.

Finally got around to watching this. Loved the season up till the finale.

I don't know what type of people y'all are, but most people wouldn't kill a random kid if it meant the death of hitler.. Hell, some people couldn't murder baby hitler if given the chance.

So it read perfectly fine that he wouldn't want Ryan to get killed. Man's almost shed a tear when he blamed Ryan. Man's was coming over reading books and facetiming the kid. Wouldn't give him up no matter what Homelander threatened. If it wasn't for the Senator, Ryan wouldn't even have been there and that's only because of Butcher

It wasn't a random kid it is essentially the spawn of satan and they are all aware of such

HL is a literal existential crisis. He can kill millions with ease. And his kid is looking to follows in his footsteps, and you have a chance to at best take their powers away (because mauve took a explosion from him, point blank and just lost her powers, somehow even surviving a 200 foot fall) at worst kid is kaput but you kill superman hitler and his second coming. If I'm SB I do that every time. Butcher is just a hypocritical selfish idiot. He even said blood doesn't matter, and Ryan isn't even his blood I honestly hope HL goes on a cac jihad next season and they blame it on the boys because it is all their fault. before they started their dumbass quest to kill HL at least it was a status quo. Now you have breh completely off the rails and unhinged openly. good job.

look I really really enjoyed the season but that last 15 or so minutes was absolutely terrible. I won't defend it.

I said PEOPLE. Like normal every day people couldn’t just murder a baby. They’d also be on some “well maybe I could raise him and change him” shyt too.

But that’s just an example because we know butcher is an ex soldier. Now soldiers would kill a hitler baby ok. But would they kill they only living child of their wife, after promising her in death, that they’d care for him and raise him different? Every single soldier?

So again. I see it. Go back and watch their interactions this season. Butcher loved that kid.
