the only person shines the most is Homelander as he does in every season,
but every character is unlikable,

the shock value shyt this show constantly throws at the audience overshadows any of the "emotional" moments it tries to reach


how many times are they gonna do the mute Japanese bytch killing a room full of soldiers with corny rock background music?


that musical scene was some cringe shyt

i dont mind it being a parody but the show is all over the place, once scene they showing a flashback of Butcher's brother committing that, then the next scene Deep is trying to have a 3 some with an octopus

and again the characters are very unlikable

It is a bit all over the place but more than anything it is entertaining AF. Unlike most shows I don’t do deep dives or character analysis on this, I tune in for the fukkery. And maybe I’m in the minority but I enjoy unlikeable characters i like the hero/villain line to be blurred. It’s probably why I find Marvel shows and movies to be boring and predictable.

Bit of the point, heroes are unlikable a$$holes. Yea, the tone is over the top on purpose. The show isn't subtle at all.

1.) A mistake

2.) A copout to avoid having The Boys fight him in Season 4 before getting to Homelander

The writing is pretty weak.. The performances are carrying the show.
