Literally the only issues I had with it were

Noir dying before he could get his revenge and Maeve, despite being de-powered, surviving what was essentially a tactical nuke AND a fall from a skyscraper.

I didn’t necessarily WANT Maeve to die, but that blast would’ve killed Homelander if it landed.

But gahdamn I loved everything else. This felt a lot like the “ESB” season where The Main Group manages to survive by the skin of their teeth, but take an hard L.

Thought this episode was kinda weak.. the show is going in circles. Next season has to be the last.

Absolutely no reason why Maeve and A-train should still be alive.

Dont mean to sound "militant". But are any of the black characters going to be useful next season

Im just saying,they made me think A train turned over a new leaf. And was going to get some payback on Homelander for the humilation. Made me feel sorry for Black Noir. Had me wanting to see him get revenge on Soldier Boy. Had me thinking MM might get a dose of temp v so Hughie didnt have to take it. And he and Soldier Boy would have a brawl.


But no,hell nah,and nope

We was thinking for sure that Big Soulja would turn on the Boys for his son Homelander, but it was just the opposite! It was Butcher who turned on Big Soulja!!!

ya man cuz there was no evidence of her being able to go toe-to-toe with him for that long…if she could fight him off this well then she never should’ve been taken captive so easily to the point they didn’t even bother showing us how he did so…anyway it’s TV…I guess I gotta be prepared to suspend some disbelief

Same thing I said. She seems every bit as strong as Soldier Boy. But Soldier Boy couldnt beat Homelander 1 v 1 either. The plan might have always been for her and Soldier Boy to team up had she not been kidnapped. Those two together probably wouldve beem too much for Homelander with their fighting ability.


Also they made it a point to let you know Homelander wasnt going 100% against her. By having him tell her "chill,not right now:whoa"


It was basically if you ever had a woman try to beat you up. And your trying to stop her without hurting her lol.

Harder to buy Butcher siding with Ryan and Homelander for me

Yeah, I actually thought they did a good job showing why Ryan went with Homelander. Easy sell. Butcher turning on soldier for him not so much.

Finale was trash. Butcher teaming up with Homelander is literally every Daddy/Son trope of every comic book story ever.
If SB said, i got who I needed to get, Black Noir is dead now I'm joining the 7, that would be better.

But I already know they're bringing him back for S4. shyt is so predictable.

Your right the main bad guys more or less got what they wanted solider boy want his team that sold him out dead, homelander want people to love for who he really is as well as his son back, victoria is one step away from being president. The main bad guys out side of stan all got what they want in the end in a around about way.

I think Neumann is gonna cross Homelander eventually and wanted her daughter to be a supe as well for so she can defend herself. It wouldn’t surprise me if Stan Edgar is looking for a way to get back into the mix and oust Homelander. Dude is sinking the ship and now that the CIA has Soldier Boy in containment they might start exploring his de-powering tech. He’s back to being a lab rat

I don’t think Noir is dead. If Homeowner really clipped him he would have brought his whole head and not just his mask. He’ll be byke. I know it

in the comic, they said black noir has a regenerative healing ability. I expect him to come back.

I can understand SB surviving cuz he still had his super strength…maeve just makes zero sense tho…a-train should’ve died…deep at least serves as comic relief…I know folks tired of his character but he cracks me up and even if homelander keeps him around as just a doja (old slang lol) at least it makes sense

kimiko survived the blast so why couldn’t she? The actress is leaving the show, so this was the way to writer her off. She lost her powers which is the main point of the blast

My takeaway is that Homelander really didn't want to hurt her in that moment. He kept telling her he had bigger fish to fry. His attention was on Soldier Boy. And because of that, she got the drop on him and started lumping him up because he was holding back only because he was distracted. You can tell when he got serious. When he let them eye lasers fly, that's when he's serious. But he wasn't expecting her to have a counter to that and she kept getting in close enough to hurt him.

If he had truly been fighting her from jump, there's no way she would have been able to do the damage she did.
